Zurf is a long-time member of the ground breaking and very popular rock/reggae group Dag Vag who has released 9 albums and once upon a time did shows with groups like Black Slate and the Cimmarons. He is also the guitarist on various local classics such as “Zion Steppers” (-82) and Per Cussion’s early albums; ”Percussion” (-81), ”Don’t Stop”(-84) and “Beatwave” (-85). It is safe to say that ZilverZurf is somewhat of a legend in his home country Sweden.

The last few years he has been busy creating film music for numerous movies and TV-shows, both in Sweden and in Portugal, which has been his second home for some periods. It’s been almost 10 years since his last solo-album; “Ritmo de Estorninhos” (-92) which was widely considered a masterpiece. It reached no. 2 on the world music chart and got great reviews in magazines like Folk Roots.
